Recipients of this award have showcased their dedication to community improvement - not just with donations but through their actions. These Retailers are continuously making positive changes in their communities and provide customers with exceptional service and living the Subaru Love Promise with integrity and compassion each day.
 
Atlantic Subaru in Bourne, MA, embodies each of the pillars of Subaru's Love Promise, going above and beyond not only for their customers but their greater community as well. From delivering hope to cancer patients to delivering warm, new coats for children in need, providing local schools with therapy dogs, and supporting the local YMCA, Atlantic Subaru creates lasting relationships with their community by taking the time and effort to discover their specific needs and support them in a way that is personal and impactful.

Subaru Loves to Help

Communities grow stronger when we help each other, whether the need is for food, shelter, or comfort. Subaru of New England strives to help our neighbors by partnering with organizations such as Operation Warm, South County Habitat for Humanity, and many shelters and food pantries throughout New England.

Subaru of New England employees regularly volunteer at and provide support to homeless shelters and food pantries serving people in urgent need including Pine Street Inn, Boston, Open Door Mission, in Rutland, VT, Northern Rhode Island Food Pantry and Amos House in Rhode Island and Rosie's Place, the Boston based first homeless shelter for women in the country.

Subaru Loves the Earth

Subaru of New England believes what we put into the earth reflects who we are. We are committed to protecting and conserving the earth for our future generations. SNE is one of the many retailers working to reduce waste, conserve resources, and preserve natural spaces by taking meaningful steps towards our goal of protecting the earth.  We are honored with our ability to make a difference in the environment by partnering with like-minded organizations such as TerraCycle, P.C. Survivors, the Trustees, Green Up Vermont, Save the Sound, and Boston Green Academy.

Year round SNE houses its very own recycling station for employees to utilize and keep hard to recycle items out of landfills. During April, our designated "Subaru Loves the Earth Month," Subaru of New England focuses on the importance of taking care of our environment. On Earth Day, we celebrated by participating in a local cleanup, supporting The Trustees by building replacement bird-nesting boxes, and hosting an E-cycling drive that collected over 947 pounds of electronics!

Subaru Loves to Care

Subaru of New England strives to give everyone the opportunity to lead a healthy life. We understand the importance of good health and support for people and their families that have fallen ill. We understand that a warm blanket, a message of support from a stranger, a child's wish granted, that HOPE and joy can aid in recovery. By supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Make-A-Wish, One Mission, Ronald McDonald House, and hospitals and treatment centers throughout New England, we hope that our actions will brighten patients' spirits and support them in their fight. SNE alongside our retailers have been recognized and honored by two local Make-A-Wish chapters on separate occasions, for our contributions to their organizations.

Subaru Loves Learning

Subaru of New England believes all students deserve equal and fair opportunities to receive a quality education.  In supporting children, adults and their teachers throughout their educational journeys, we hope to ensure that New England schools in need can provide students with the supplies and learning materials necessary for students to thrive in the classroom. Subaru's award-winning program in partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org allows us to donate funds to adopted teachers to use for their classroom supplies, rather than spend their own money throughout the school year.

To better equip students in their ability to learn, Subaru of New England has partnered with Subaru of America to donate 5 Subarus to New England technical colleges offering students in the Automotive programs the opportunity to attain hands-on experience with Subaru vehicles.

Subaru Loves Pets

At Subaru of New England, we believe that all pets deserve a loving, safe, and happy home. Each October, we call attention to shelter pets with our #SNELovesPets campaign.  We shine light on twelve different animal shelters throughout New England that support shelters caring for pets through rescue, adoption, transport, and healthcare.  Subaru of New England donates $5 for every unique pet image/video uploaded with #SNELovesPets on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or TikTok throughout October.  Following the eighth year of our #SNELovesPets campaign, we have raised over $500,000 in total for animal nonprofits across New England. Subaru of New England Loves Pets is just one way that we strive to be more than just a car company.

Over $288 million donated to charity.

Over the last 16 years, through the Subaru Share the Love® Event, Subaru and our participating retailers have donated more than $288 million to charity, with customers choosing between four national charities and nearly 2,300 hometown charities.

In addition, Subaru and its retailers have:

  • Donated & Delivered More than 4.6 Million Meals
  • Helped Protect More than 400 National Parks
  • Granted More than 3,600 Wishes
  • More than 118,000 Animals Supported
