The Subaru Love Promise is just that. A promise. It is a promise to do right by our community through partnering with nonprofit educational, health, community, environmental, and animal organizations. Our goal is to set Subaru apart through our deeds and the deeds of our partners. To be unlike any other car company by doing what is right and good, just for the sake of doing it.
The Subaru "Share the Love" Event
The "Share the Love" program was launched in 2007 to help demonstrate Subaru's commitment to the Subaru Love Promise. Every year since, this event has given Subaru of New England an outlet to remain dedicated to the causes our retailers, employees, and customers care about most.
Since the inception of "Share the Love", Subaru has donated over $94 million to countless national and hometown charity partners.
How Does "Share the Love" Work?
Every year from mid-November to the beginning of January, Subaru pledges to donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased to the customer's choice of four national charities. In 2016, the four charities were:
•   The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)
•   The Make-A-Wish Foundation
•   Meals on Wheels America
•   The National Park Foundation
In addition, customers have the option to select a local charitable organization chosen by each Subaru retailer - a charity which is making a lasting impact on their hometown communities.
Thank You, New England Subaru Owners!
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who purchased or leased a new Subaru during the 2016 "Share the Love" event! Thanks to each and every one of you, Subaru of New England and our 64 retailers have donated over $2 million to 68 New England hometown charities. Every dollar makes a difference - and every dollar is used to make a positive and lasting impact on the hundreds of local communities within the six states of New England.
Some of these local charities include:
•   Animal shelters
•   Family service providers
•   Medical service centers
•   Food banks
•   Educational services
