Safety
The thrill of life is the unexpected – from the ups and downs to the twists and turns in the road before you. So that you can feel confident behind the wheel, we’ve taken safety into our own hands. From top to bottom and front to back, the Impreza is fortified with the most advanced safety features.
Go ahead and have fun on the road because we’ve got your back. With a standard rear-vision camera, the Impreza keeps an eye on what’s behind you. Plus with seven standard airbags and a ring-shaped reinforcement frame, you and your passengers will feel completely protected. Now with the available EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology, you’ll always have an extra set of eyes on the road to keep the fun times rolling. From pre-collision breaking to adaptive cruise control, Subaru has taken safety to a whole new level.
For Subaru, safety doesn’t end on the production line. Even after you drive off the lot, your safety is still our priority. That’s why every Impreza comes with 24-hour roadside assistance for 3 years or 36,000 miles.
With safety at the forefront of its design, it’s no wonder the Impreza has been an IIHS Top Safety Pick for 9 years running.
Safety in the Honda Civic comes at a steeper price than in the Impreza. What’s the point in spending more money for the same thing? Save your money for the journey ahead!
Performance
If you’re going to push the limits in your life, you need a vehicle that isn’t afraid to do the same. The Impreza makes the best travelling companion, bringing you almost endless entertainment and information options. The standard StarlinkTM in-vehicle technology features Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™, Pandora®, iHeart® Radio, StitcherTM, AhaTM, and much more—including an all-new, built-in and voice-activated navigation system powered by TomTom. Everything you could possibly need to access is just a finger swipe away on the LCD touchscreen display.
The base model Civic’s entertainment system is a complete downgrade from the Impreza’s. The touchscreen display and the plethora of apps are replaced with a basic audio system. The most advanced piece of equipment is the USB connection, which is standard on most new vehicles on the market today. You’re at the point where you want to live life to the fullest. Why should you make an exception with the vehicle you choose?

Passenger Space

Subaru knows that in today’s world, one size most certainly does not fit all. That’s the reason we’ve designed two body styles for the Impreza: 4-door and 5-door. Whatever style your heart chooses, you can’t be steered in the wrong direction.
For a compact car, the Impreza offers a surprisingly generous amount of passenger space. The 4-door and 5-door have a passenger volume of 96.9 cubic feet and 97.5 cubic feet respectively. This is yet another way the Impreza pushes its boundaries.
The Honda Civic may have a bit more space than the Impreza, but that doesn’t make up for its shortcomings in other areas. You need a vehicle that pushes the boundaries in all areas, which is the reason the Impreza is perfect for you.
