Subaru of New England Visits Youth Services

The Subaru Love Promise is our pledge to do right by the communities in which we all live and work. We've signed it, and we live by it each and every day - from our fuel-efficient vehicles to our eco-friendly plants.

In September of 2016, we showed our commitment when we visited Youth Services in Vermont. The Green Mountain State is plagued by drug abuse, which "is one of the most serious problems facing [the] state", according to Vermont Governor Shumlin.

Subaru of New England donated $25,000 to Youth Services to help them develop an innovative youth counseling program to treat addiction, known as the Youth Substance Abuse Treatment Program. At the time, this was cited as one of the most pressing needs in Windham County, Vermont.

Opiate addiction is a serious public health problem with terrible consequences. The support and treatment that Youth Services provide for young people in Vermont is crucial and life-saving. We are proud to support to an organization that combats addiction to save the lives of our loved ones.
